He is Everywhere

The little child whispered,
"God, speak to me"
And a meadowlark sang.
But the child did not hear.
So the child yelled,
"God, speak to me!"
And the thunder rolled across the sky
But the child did not listen.
The child looked around and said,
"God let me see you"
And a star shone brightly
But the child did not notice.
And the child shouted,
"God show me a miracle!"
And a life was born
But the child did not know.
So the child cried out in despair,
"Touch me God, and let me know you are there!"
Whereupon God reached down
And touched the child.
But the child brushed the butterfly away
And walked away unknowingly. (God? Author: Unknown)

Sometimes, we don’t realize that God speaks. We asked Him to speak to us, and He speaks. It’s just sometimes we don’t listen. So, wherever we are, whatever we do, try to taste and see Him. He’s everywhere. He can be seen everywhere, as long as we want to seek Him seriously. (-fon-)

Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
--- Psalm 34:8

Worries Vs Trust

"When I look back on all these worries I remember the story of the old man who said on his deathbed that he had had a lot of trouble in his life, most of which never happened." (Winston Churchill)

Most of the time, worries never happened. But I’ve read that sometimes we tend to choose this attitude because we’re afraid of the future. So, we thought by worrying would make us feel better in case something’s going wrong in the next steps of our life.
The Bible reminds us to stay faithful, to put our trust in the Lord. When we put our confidence in him, we’ll have no worries in the year of drought and never fail to bear fruits. Change our worries into faith. Trust Him with all our heart! (-fon-)

"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit."
--- Jeremiah 17:7-8
