Life As Jars of Clay

I ‘ve watched The Biggest Loser, a weight-loss reality show. It shows how the contestants need to do everything they could to get the biggest decline in their weight. They do everything, mostly exercises in the gym and watch their diet closely to lose their weight. To stay in shape really needs extra efforts and sometimes its process is really tiring and painful. But it will be paid off, the biggest loser will be crowned as the winner.

Imagine your life as jars of clay. You need to experience a lot of things, some of them are very painful, in order to make yourself a nice-shaped jars. So, if problems come, they’re expected, since the shaping process needs to face those adversities. Life has never been easy, but it’s our choice to stay in shape in order to find the treasure in the jars of clay, only to find that: this all-surpassing power is from God, and not from us. (-fon-)

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us
--- 2 Corinthians 4:7
