Like A Child

Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. The winner was a four- year-old child, whose next-door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap and just sat there. When his mother asked him what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry."

Children got wonderful pure hearts that can’t really be imagined. As we’re getting more mature, as we’re getting older, it’s quite sad to see the value fades away. But it’s just so sweet to see such a caring act could come out from a child.

The bible reminds us to receive the kingdom of God like a little child. In our purity and sincerity, let’s be like a child in accepting the kingdom of God. (-fon-)

I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
--- Luke 18:17
