Suffering and Perseverance

Here’s a short story of Colonel Sanders, where KFC came from:
Colonel Sanders went to more than 1,000 places trying to sell his chicken recipe before he found an interested buyer. The fact that we can buy Kentucky Fried Chicken today attests to his perseverance.

It’s not too late to develop such a character in this life. We need to develop perseverance in order to make ourselves a better person. And hopefully, whatever hardship that we’re facing right now, we won’t lose hope, because we know that every suffering will produce perseverance. (-fon-)

Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
--- Romans 5:3-4
