Faith Rests

Remember the Israelites in the wilderness? In the Bible God supernaturally fed them on a daily basis by raining their food out of the heavens. According to Exodus 16:14,15 they call it "manna."
Manna represents God's grace or ability to help us. Like us, they wanted to make sure that they would have enough for tomorrow as well as today. They wanted to have tomorrow taken care of just in case God forgot to be miraculous the next morning. But God wanted them to learn how live by faith, and He forbid them to collect more than they needed to live for one day at a time, except on the Sabbath.

Faith does not have to figure out the future. Faith rests because it knows that God will deliver tomorrow's manna tomorrow.

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
--- Hebrews 11:1

My own reflection of this Thought:
* Since the inflation rate in Indonesia is higher each year, have you ever wondered what your child's education cost would be in the future? Or for the single ones, have you ever wondered what's the cost of buying a house, a car, getting married in the next 5 years or 10 years?
It's frustrating when you think about it, isn't it?
God's word today asks us to live by faith because His grace is enough for our needs. Each day He will fulfill His Blessing, and don't worry it's enough for that day as long as we have a thanksgiving heart and be grateful for each 'manna' that He gives for us... (-fon-)

Accentuate the Positive

Make a decision today that you are going to enjoy yourself and all the people that God has placed in your life. Don't just look at what is wrong with you or with them. Be positive; look for the good things and magnify them.

... change them not to be proud and arrogant and contemptuous of others, nor to set their hopes on uncertain riches, but on God, Who richly and ceaselessly provides us with everything for [our] enjoyment.
--- 1 Timothy 6:17

My own reflection on this Thought:
* It's easy to look at the negative side of everything or everyone. That's our nature as human. We tend to like gossiping and talking about others, sometimes even making fun of the negativity that we've seen.
It's easy to do that...
But to change ourselves as God's followers, as His Disciples, we need to make a difference.
See the good things, the positive sides of everything and everyone. It's more beautiful for sure... Starts looking through the eyes of love, the eyes of positivity.

Welcome the Word

Once a person receives God's Son Jesus as Savior and is born again, God is not finished with him; He is just beginning. After the New Birth, the individual is turned over to the Holy Spirit for transformation. The tool the Holy Spirit uses to bring about this transformation is the Word of God.

The spirit of the new believer has been reborn, brought back to life; that person will go to heaven when he dies. As Philippians 2:12 says, now he needs to work out [his] own salvation with fear and trembling.
In other words, his soul needs to be saved. The soul is often defined as the mind, the will, and the emotions. Each of these areas needs salvation.
According to the Scriptures, the mind must be renewed by the Word of God.

So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.
--- James 1:21

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Reborn as a Christian means forever transformation in God.
When you looked back, you might feel you've changed. You've got less worry, less fear, less of bad habits and attitudes.
Because I believe, the changes in God always good ones.
Reborn and change in Him! (-fon-)

Waiting Builds Character

Character is built during the hard times of waiting.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
--- 1 Peter 5:10

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Gets boring or frustrated while waiting? Don't worry you're not alone.
I myself find it hard to really focus on God while waiting... I become impatient and wanted to know the result instantly -- as soon as possible.
Today's word of God reminds me that in order to build up my character to be Christ-alike, I need to wait because waiting teaches me a lot of things and it will change my character better.
Wait in hope? Why not? (-fon-)

TOTD, April 26

See As God Sees

People tend to look at the exterior. God sees the inside. He sees the possibilities. Unless we are trained by God as we read His Word and allow His Spirit to work the Word in us to see beyond what can be perceived with the natural eye, we will always live with judgment in our hearts. Judgment can cause us to miss seeing all the beauty that lay just below the surface.

Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.
--- 2 Corinthians 4:18

My own reflection on this Thought:
* This world looks at the exterior. If we see Beyonce, her beauty, her body, makes some of the women feel inferior. We don't have any confidence since we're not as beautiful as her.
It applies the same for the guys, let say they can't compare themselves with George Clooney or Keanu Reeves.
But, while this world is chasing all that temporal beauty, God sees deep inside.
God loves us just the way we are, because He has already created us perfectly in His Opinion.
Can we become more like Him? Can we be less judgemental towards others? (because to be compared or to be judged is painful, you know about that...).
See as God sees, that's our aim ... (-fon-)

Think Big, Live Big!

Our thoughts become a border around our lives. If we think little, we will live little. If we think bid, we will live big.

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
--- Mark 9:23

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Many times, our thinking is the barrier to become a better person.
Many times, our thoughts keep telling us that we couldn't be successful especially when we look at our previous situation, times when we're in the downward trend of this life.
It's important to surrender our thoughts to Jesus because we believe that all things are possible through Him. Don't let our thinking limits us... (-fon-)

Let Go of the Past

Our future cannot be blessed until we let go of the past.

I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.
--- Philippians 3:13,14

My own reflection on this Thought:
* " I must forgive you, and you must forgive me too...
It's the only thing least left that we haven't tried to do
One thing I'm sure we will that we haven't tried before
So let's not bring the past anymore..."
(The Past --- a song of Ray Parker, Jr.)
This is an old song. Maybe when I was in Junior High School or Senior High School, I don't remember exactly. But one thingfor sure, when I can't let go of my past, sometimes I sing this song. It reminds me to forgive and let go of my past...

The past, especially the painful ones are not easy to deal with. When we memorize every detail of it, it becomes more and more painful.
Today's word of God asks us to let go of the past so that we could focus on His Plan for our future.
Crying over our past, won't bring us anywhere. Forgive and let go of the bitterness of our past today! (-fon-)

A Sign of Maturity

Control of the tongue should be our goal. It is a sign of maturity. It is one way we glorify God.

For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature.
--- James 3:2

My own reflection on this Thought:
* When we're angry, we become more impatient, and that's when the biggest test of the tongue, can we control our tongue in time like this?
Can we still pick the right words and not burst in anger?
In a movie called Anger Management, there are some ways to handle our anger. But for us, becoming a Christian, we know that the Holy Spirit is leading us with a spirit of peace -- not anger. So, we could ask God's guidance to fill us with the Holy Spirit, so that we could control our emotion better and control our tongue better.

Waiting Is Endurable

Believing makes waiting more endurable.

... waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don't see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.
--- Romans 8:24,25

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Waiting in hope, waiting in faith is what the bible teaches us.
Waiting could be depressing, boring, and so stressful. But today, we are invited to believe in God in the middle of the waiting process. Because we know, the process itself will bring us to be more mature in faith.
Are you waiting for His Promises in your life? Wait in faith starting today so that you would wait in joy... (-fon-)

Hope for the Future

You may be facing situations that are so bad it seems you no real reason to hope. But I say to you boldly, your future is not determined by your past or your present!

Believe that with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)
With man some things may be impossible, but Hebrews 11:3 says that we serve a God Who created everything we see out of nothing. Give Him your nothingness and watch Him go to work. All He needs is your faith in Him. He needs for you to believe, and He will do the rest.

But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere.
--- 2 Corinthians 2:14

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Tom Cruise is a very popular actor, one of his famous movie is Mission Impossible. To watch the movie is very interesting, but for me my mission impossible always involves God.
Many times in my life, it seems that I'm facing a deadlock. I couldn't go anywhere, and the problem seems has no solution at all. It seems I'm facing a mission impossible.
But as my hero, God helps me and makes my chapters of life turns from mission impossible to mission possible only by His Grace...
Don't ever loose hope. If you loose hope today, pray to Him and ask for more grace so that you could feel He's near... (-fon-)

Listen for Success

If we will listen to what the Lord is telling us in His Word and in our hearts, not only will we have more peace, but we will also enjoy more success.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
--- Joshua 1:8

My own reflection on this Thought:
* You might wonder, how can God speak to me? Most of the time, I pray and talk to God about my daily routine, just like talking lovingly to my dearest friend, and then there will be a time that I keep silent, listen to God's words that He speaks softly through my heart.
It's very important to keep a sincere and clean heart, so that we could really hear His Words, His message to us... And by that time, we'll live this life peacefully because we know we're on the right track, we're on His track.
Listen to God, listen to your pure heart...(-fon-)

TOTD, April 19

Strength When Needed

Just because we don't feel strong when we think about a situation does not mean that we won't be strong when we need to be. God's strength comes to us by His grace, through our faith, but He rarely gives us the strength we need before we actually need it. In this way we must trust Him, which is our part. He asks us in His Word to trust Him, and as we do, He does the part we cannot do.

In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].
--- Ephesians 6:10

My own reflection on this Thought:
* When I was at my college, studying Accounting, I could never imagined myself doing the stockbroker job. I thought that it might be too hard for me.
But, once I became a stockbroker in Jakarta Stock Exchange, suddenly there's a new strength to make me carry on. I believe it's from God, because I myself wouldn't have enough strength to do so.

Lots of things are like my experience. We're so afraid of a situation, we thought it's too difficult for us to handle. One thing that we should always remember that if God has given something to us, He will give us the strength as well. So, don't worry, He'll show us the way and give His strength whenever He thinks we need it.
(-fon-)

TOTD, April 18

Choose Praise

We can complain and remain, or praise and be raised.

Thank [God] in everything [no matter wht the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].
--- 1 Thessalonians 5:18

My own reflection on this Thought:
* In times of troubles, especially when we're so tired of this life, it's really hard to praise the Lord. All we have in our mouth may be just complaints and complaints.
We are reminded today to choose praise, no matter what... Because God's grace will enough to see us through.
To praise in times of bad circumstances while we're in the deepest valley of our life is not easy, but it's worth to try and to fight for, since we're His disciples. We can make a difference by praising Him in times of troubles. Start praising no matter what circumstances we're facing. Start now! (-fon-)

TOTD, April 17

Prayer Changes Things
Every failure is, in essence, a failure to pray.

If we don't pray, the best thing that can happen is nothing so that things will stay the same as they are, which is frightening enough in itself. We all need change, and the way to get it is through prayer.

For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].
--- Mark 11:24

My own reflection on this Thought:
* We live in a very dynamic world. Dynamic means lots of changes here, there, and everywhere.
Changes sometimes make us happy. But, there are times when changes are hard to accept and painful.
So, to make ourselves ready to face all the changes in this life, we need to maintain a very good relationship with God, that is through prayers.
Prayer also changes things, so keep on praying to God! (-fon-)

TOTD, April 16

From Grief to Joy

Grieving is normal, but living with a spirit of grief is not.

... weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.
--- Psalm 30:5,11

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Everyone has their own grieving experience. It's normal.
But today's word of God reminds us that it's not normal to live under the spirit of grief. While the Holy Spirit should give us enough strength to conquer the grief and back to joy, it's not necessary for us to keep drowning ourselves in grief spirit.
God has the ability to turn our mourning into dancing, our sorrow into joy. Or even in the midst of the sorrow, we can still feel the peace of God, which doesn't come from this world. It's from Him alone... (-fon-)

TOTD, April 13-15

Looking Unto Jesus

Keep your eyes off yourself and your troubles; instead, fasten them firmly on Jesus and His power. He already know what is wrong with you. He is ready, willing, and able to bring about the changes that need to be made in you and your life.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
--- Hebrews 12:2

My own reflection on this Thought:
* When we're facing a huge problem, our eyes were filled with the problem. It's all about us, it's all about our problem. At that time, it's hard to focus ourselves on Jesus.
But today, we need to know the truth about this. As His disciples, we need to focus on Jesus more. He knows what's wrong with us... Find Him and He'll show us the way. It's all about Jesus and not about us. Find a way to get out of the problem for a while and pray to Jesus... He'll more than pleased to welcome us... (-fon-)

Thoughts Affect Life

It is important for you to come to grips with the fact that your life will not get straightened out until your mind does.

Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but he transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
--- Romans 12:2

My own reflection on this Thought:
* When one condition comes, check our mind, do we tend to think positively or negatively on that condition?
My guess is : negative thoughts would dominate. Because I myself, tend to think that way as well.
When the negative thoughts appear, worries and fears will usually follow. Then, our faith won't go anywhere being shielded by those things.
It's important to pray to God asking Him to straighten our thinking. Think as He thinks... Can't do that? Ask His Guidance and help... (-fon-)

"I'll Be Glad When..."

Often young parents delay enjoying their child until he has reached a certain stage of growth.

When he is infant they say, " I'll be glad when he gets out of diapers or quits cutting teeth or learns to walk." Then they say, " I'll be glad when he starts in kindergarten." Then it becomes, " I'll be glad when he starts school." Later they say, " I'll be glad when he graduates." On and on it goes until the child is grown and gone, and the parents have never really enjoyed any stage of his life. They were always waiting to be glad when.

We postpone being glad until everything is perfect --- which we all know is never going to happen in this life. We need to learn to rejoice and be glad in the Lord this day and every day along the way toward our goal.

Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that the pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.
--- Romans 5:3

My own reflection on this Thought:
* This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
That's the song that I remembered reading the above passage.
It's very important to enjoy today. For tomorrow has its own troubles and yesterday's biggest fear or worry has already passed.
Easier said than done, you might say... It might be true, but try our very best to be a "TODAY PERSON".
It will help us a lot and we can enjoy this life better... (-fon-)

Praying in the Name

Praying in the Name of Jesus takes the pressure off of us!
His Name takes His place; His Name represents Him.
When we pray in His Name, it is the same as if He were praying, as if He were asking!

For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them.
--- Matthew 18:20

My own reflection on this Thought:
* It's easy to pray whenever things are going smoothly according to our plans.
But if things went wrong, there are time that we could hardly create any words of prayers. That's when the time, I keep calling on His Name. It's more effective rather than pushing yourself so hard to pick beautiful words to pray.
God understands us, whenever we felt we couldn't speak anything, just call His Name. His Name is powerful!
Keep on praying no matter what happens in our life! (-fon-)

TOTD, April 11

Love Is the Salt of Life

Love is the salt, the energy, and flavor of life, the reason to get up every morning.

Every day can be exciting if we see ourselves as God's secret agents, waiting in the shadows to sprinkle some salt on all the tasteless lives we encounter each day.

Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone [who puts a question to you].
--- Colossians 4:6

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Imagining eating a cup of chicken soup, it would be tasteless without any salt in it.
Just like love. Love makes a difference in this life. Just adding a teaspoon of love in your act today would make a lot of difference...
Act with Love and sprinkle it to the people we encounter everyday, that's our duty as God's disciple... (-fon-)

In the Palm of His Hand

I am glad to know and to be comforted in knowing that whatever tomorrow holds for me, God holds tomorrow and me in the palm of His hand.

Behold, I have indelibly imprinted (tattooed a picture of) you on the palm of each of My hands; [O Zion] your walls are continually before me.
--- Isaiah 49:16

My own reflection of this Thought:
* Trusting God including the act of surrendering our future in God's hand and believe that whatever it is God will be there to see us through.
Once more I'm going to say, it's not an easy process to do so while we got so many plans, thoughts, wishes and dreams of the future.
What we can do is just surrendering all of the plans and dreams we have in Him... He'll be there... (-fon-)

Victory Over Rejection

No one enjoys being rejected, but all of us can learn to handle rejection and get on with our life if we remember that Jesus was also rejected and despised. He gained the victory over rejection by being faithful to God's plan for His life. Because He defeated rejection when He shed His blood on the cross for our sins, rejection can no longer defeat us.

He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows...
--- Isaiah 53:4

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Being rejected by our friends, by our society is painful. Maybe you've experienced this before. In your peer group as a teenager, you're being rejected only because of your physical problems (too fat or too skinny or any other reason) or because your family's financial was not as rich as others in the elite school,or lots of other reasons.
The bottom line is all of us has this rejection experience before.
It's not easy to face your rejection. Maybe some of us is still living with those pain until now. But today's Word of God reminds us to remember that Jesus was also rejected and despised. And He has been through those dreadful experience that we could see in " Passion of the Christ" only because His Love for us. For He Himself was never deserve to go through those painful stages.
We need to realize that God has already sacrifice Himself for us, so we don't need to live in the rejection trap anymore. Move on as God really loves you and thinks you're worthy! (-fon-)

Enjoy Your Accomplishments

We should work not just to accomplish, but also to enjoy our accomplishments.

Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
--- Ecclesiastes 5:19

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Work, work, work all the time. Work harder and even harder. Then you wonder, why I become so exhausted...?
Of course it will be like that, since you've forgotten to sit back and relax for a while. Take your time to enjoy your accomplishments, just do whatever you want to --- in a proper way for sure.
Then you'll find a new strength, a stronger one to fight for the better in every area of your life.
Enjoyment is not a sin, as long as it leads you to a new and better accomplishment, including your spiritual life! (-fon-)

Follow the Anointing

God is not obligated to anoint you, or fill you with His power, for anything He has not called you to do. He may have called you to it at one time, but now that call may be fulfilled. Once God's anointing is lifted from something, it is finished. That's when you need to let go of it and move on in obedience to the Lord.

For all tho are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
--- Romans 8:14

My own reflection on this Thought:
* for ministry purposes, God will grant us with some anointings. But, we need to realize that those anointings come from God Himself. And He can lift it any time He wants and might give us a new one, a different one to help others for glorifying His Name. We can't push God to left a certain anointing in us only because we want to keep that one. But, He'll choose which anointing is needed for ministering His people and grant it to us. Accept what He sends us...(-fon-)

Run with Patience

When you make mistakes, receive mercy from God and press on toward the finish line. Be patient with yourself while you are overcoming your weaknesses.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
--- Hebrews 12:1

My own reflection on this Thought:
* You might read those words above and wonder how could you do that?
Being patient with yourself might be the hardest thing to do. Some of the perfectionists can't stand any mistake being made by themselves. It seems that if they make one mistake, it will be like the end of the world.
It made me realize that we're not perfect...we're no angels. We're only human with weaknesses but we want to try to be a better person. Realizing once more that God's grace and mercy would enough to forgive us, why won't we forgive ourselves and be more patient...? (-fon-)

Cooperate with God

You cannot get beyond your own opinion of yourself --- no matter how many good things God may say about you in His word. Regardless of all the wonderful plans He may have for your life, none of them will come to pass without your cooperation.

God does not have a bad attitude toward you --- you should not have one toward yourself! Shake off the past and set your sights on the future.

" For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the LORD, " plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope."
--- Jeremiah 29:11

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Watching a basketball game or a soccer game, we see how good the teamwork of the winning team. Looks like they win the game easily with their smooth cooperation among the players.

Today's word of God reminds me of how important to have a good teamwork with God. Since the battle of life is not easy to conquer, we need to have a solid teamwork and cooperate well with God.
We can be the winner in the battle of life! What we need to do is just to cooperate with God. Make God your ultimate team-player and together with Him be sure that you'll be a winner! (-fon-)

Enter God's Rest

Trust is not inherited; it is learned! We learn to trust God by going through various experiences that require trust. By seeing His faithfulness over and over, we let go of trusting ourselves, and gradually we enter His rest and place and our trust in Him.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
--- Proverbs 3:5-8

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Today's Words of God remind us that trust is a learning process. We all know that the process is not an easy one. Even though we're believers but sometime we trust ourselves too much while we forgot to trust God. We need to draw ourselves closer to Him and remind ourselves that we're nothing without Him. Trust Him always... (-fon-)

Do Your Best

If you are doing the best that you know how to do, that's all God expects from you.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: fot my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
--- 2 Corinthians 12: 9

My own reflection on this Thought:
* I'll do my best, let God do the rest...
That's the phrase that I like so much all these time.
Those words remind me of how important of me to do my very best in every single effort that I make without forgetting God.
Because I know everything that I have, everything that I've got comes from God.
I can have this life because of Him.
I'll just pass this day in awareness that He is there to help me through, all I need to do is just giving my very best... How about you??? (-fon-)

Give Patience Away

Be generous with patience. Give it away freely to yourself and others. You will find the benefits delightful.

But as for that [seed] in the good soil, these are [the people] who, hearing the Word, hold it fast in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart, and steadily bring forth fruit with patience.
--- Luke 8:15

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Living in a big city like Jakarta is quite stressful. The traffic jam, the flood, or even the beggar who's singing while you're in the traffic light --- all might become a stressor in your life. At this kind of stage, is hard for you to be patient while the city's pace is making you more impatient. Not to mention the instant habit--- such as instant noodle and coffee, all creates an impatient attitude.
But today's Word of God reminds us to be patient. You might wonder then, HOW???
We might feel it's impossible to be patient with ourselves then how are we going to be patient with others? All we can do is just ask God and believe that with His Grace, He'll enable us to be more patient in each of the time.
Just give yourself some space... Be patient! (-fon-)

TOTD, April 1

Be Led with Peace

Don't do anything you don't have peace about. Let peace be the umpire that decides if a thing should be in your life or not.

And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful appreciative, [giving praise to God always].
--- Colossians 3:15

My own reflection on this Thought:
* I was once wondered, when would I got the chance to find my true soul mate? Or should I end up living my life as a celibataire (French: single). But when I thought about celibate life, my heart didn't have any peace at all... Then, I prayed, if God had wanted me to have a married life in the 1st place, please show me the way to reach that.
And finally, here I am. Getting married with the one that He has already chosen for me. And now He's given me a child to make this family life merrier.
If it is from God, I find it so true: there will be peace of mind whenever we walk along the journey that He's already prepared for us.
God's way is a peaceful and harmonious way... (-fon-)
