You Are Precious

I’ve just recently read Bo Sanchez’ inspiring article about self-portrait: how other people treat us and how we treat ourselves.
The second one is also important, because it’s connected with the way you look at yourself.
We all have ever experienced a downturn in our life. We all have felt neglected, abandoned, rejected, and humiliated in some of the stages of our life. Life isn’t perfect. Life isn’t always going exactly like what we want.
But, even if this world rejected us, we need to remember that God has got our blueprint, because He created us in the first place. There’s no one else.

I think most of us have ever been experiencing the self-portrait problem. And right now, we need to do something about it. Keep believing that God -our creator- is the God who thinks highly of us. We are precious and honored in His sight and most importantly He loves us.
Whenever we look down on ourselves while remembering the failures of our life or how this world abandon or even hate us, seek God. Seek Him who thinks highly of us and created us in the first place with perfect planning even before each of us entered our mother’s womb.

We are precious and honored in His sight. Never have any doubt about it. (-fon-)

For I am the LORD, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I give Egypt for your ransom,
Cush and Seba in your stead.
Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give men in exchange for you,
and people in exchange for your life
--- Isaiah 43:3-4.
