Jesus Has Compassion

Today, I read Matthew 20: 29-34, and I begin to imagine the story of the Bible.
It happened back then, when Jesus and His disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed Him. Two blind men were sitting by the road side, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"
The crowd told them to be quiet. And you know what happened next? They shouted even louder. And that made Jesus stop and asked them, what they wanted Jesus to do.
They replied that they wanted their sight. And the result was amazing! They immediately received their sight because Jesus had compassion on them.

Many times, we’re also blind in this life. Not physically blind, but sometimes our heart is blind. Or we’re emotionally blind while we don’t have any sympathy for others at all.
When we realized that we have this blindness inside of us and we shouted, “ Lord, have mercy on us!” He will hear us. And as long as we repent our faults and follow His commandments, we will get His compassion. For He’s compassionate all the time.

Thank God for being such a loving and compassionate God for us. And it’s our duty for not disappointing Him. Jesus has a great compassion and it’s our duty not to take it as a granted. (-fon-)

Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.
