Thanksgiving

Recently, with so many disasters keep happening around the world, like the cyclone in Myanmar or the earthquake in China. Or even the instability of political situation due to the oil price and food price increase in every part of this world, then we wonder, could we find the grateful attitude in every circumstance that we’re facing right now?

Of course it’s not easy, especially when our eyes are blurred with the problems. We can’t see clearly all the good things in this life.

Today, as I read the verse from Ezra 3:11, it reminds me once more that I need to come to the Lord with praise and thanksgiving. Because He is good, his love endures forever!

In the middle of every darkness, every sad situation, there must be something good to be thankful for. That’s why we need to give thanks to the Lord, that’s why we need to stay in thanksgiving attitude.

Whatever happens in our life, whatever happens in this life, don’t let thanksgiving run away from us. It’s our choice to stay in thanksgiving no matter how hard the situation might be. So, choose to be in thanksgiving attitude every moment in our life. (-fon-)

With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the LORD :
"He is good;
his love to Israel endures forever."
And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.
--- Ezra 3:11
