Fullness Requires Thankfulness

I do not believe that God will release us into the fullness of all that He has planned for us until we become thankful for we have already been given.

Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices [and instruments] and making melody with all your hearts to the Lord,
At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.
--- Ephesians 5:19,20

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Many times when we're disappointed with our condition, we're also complaining to God. Without realizing those complaints won't bring us anywhere.
Sometimes, it's not that easy to be thankful in the middle of 'everything- goes-wrong' life that's probably we're facing right now.
But only until we can really accept the worst condition that we're facing, God's grace will be poured more and more into our hearts and bring us to the next stage of our life in His wonderful plan. (-fon-)

Partners with God

God usually works in cooperation with man; we are partners with God. He will show us what we should do, but He won't do it for us in most instances. He will enable us, teach us, direct us, lead us, and guide us, but ultimately we must take a step of faith and act on His instructions, which are His Word.

The steps of a [good man] are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].
--- Psalm 37:23

My own reflection on this Thought:
* Our partnership with God is an active one. We need to change and empower ourselves with everything that will be needed along our life journey in this world. It is God who gives us all the thing that we need to have in this battle of life, but of course we need to fight and work hard as well...
Work hard plus pray hard makes a wonderful partnership in Him... (-fon-)

You Won't Sink

It is time for us to hold fast our confession of faith, and ride out the storms, knowing that God has His eye on everything, including us and the storm. He is faithful, and we can hold onto Him by holding onto His promises from the Word, knowing that He will not allow us to sink.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
--- Hebrews 10:23

My own reflection on this Thought:
* In the wavy life we're facing, it's hard to be convinced that we're not going to sink.
God is faithful and we need to comprehend it.
Not only He was faithful yesterday, but today and forever, his faithfulness won't ever change.
So, we won't sink because our faithful God cares about us a lot! (-fon-)
