Greater Hunger

Here’s a quotation from the famous, the one and only, Mother Teresa:

Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.
Mother Teresa

Sometimes we think, by fulfilling the material needs only for our loved ones, we have fulfilled our task. But Mother Teresa reminds me that more importantly, people got greater hunger, greater poverty if the feel unwanted, unloved, uncared, or forgotten. That’s why we need to remember to love one another, like our God has already done so by loving us. Money isn’t everything, money can’t buy love or happiness. (-fon-)

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
--- John 13:34
