Hardship Is Discipline
Many times we want it to be an easy way. Instant way. We want everything runs smoothly and fast. The less struggle, the better. But becoming a parent, has made me realize that I need to discipline my child if I want her to be a good person. I can’t follow every wish she wants. I need to say which is right or wrong, which is can or can’t.
Why would it be different as a child of God? As he is treating us all as His sons, He will definitely discipline us. Take hardship as discipline, then we will see problem from different perspective. (-fon-)
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?
