Thirsts for YOU
This is a psalm of David when he was in the Desert of Judah.
O God, you are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you,
my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land
where there is no water.
--- Psalm 63:1
Yes, it’s true, as long as we haven’t found Him in our soul, we’ll still be thirsty and hungry for Him. There’s an emptiness that can’t be filled with any other thing or any other person. Only God Himself can give us that kind of contentment and joy. Just like David, let’s earnestly seek Him. My soul thirsts for You, oh Lord! (-fon-)
