Nothing Can Make Us Stumble

As long as we live according to His law, nothing can make us stumble. Yes, we might sometimes feel down, but as long as we believe in Him, we’ll get the kind of faith that keep going strong. Amen. (-fon-)

Great peace have they who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble.

--- Psalm 119:165

Glorify You, Oh Lord!

OUR LIVES GLORIFY GOD when we live in loving relationship with one another. Our lives glorify God when we offer hospitality to those who need our care and support. Our lives glorify God when we use the unique gifts that God has given to each of us, not to bring attention to ourselves but for healing, edifying, encouraging, and serving others.

- Paul Wesley Chilcote
A Life-Shaping Prayer: 52 Meditations in the Wesleyan Spirit (upper room website).

Hopefully our life will be the kind of life that tries hard to glorify You, Oh Lord! In whatever we do, in whatever action that we take, that’s our prayer…Let it be a life that glorify Him. (-fon-)

I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart;
I will glorify your name forever.

--- Psalm 86:12

The Beauty of the Nature

One of the best ways to stay thankful to the Lord is to watch the nature closely, look at its beauty, and admiring the work of God. He’s so good to us! Maybe this has been long forgotten, because we’re just to busy to see. Take a little time to admire the beauty of the nature. It might only be a rainbow that comes after the rain, it might be the butterfly that flies near your window… But, hey! They’re all God’s creation. God is amazing! (-fon-)

The birds nest beside the streams
and sing among the branches of the trees.

--- Psalm 104:12
