Obey Your Parents

Oh, yes, we’ve heard lots of things about parents who do not treat their children well. But, more than that, we still can see that there’s many parents even they’re not perfect, they always try hard to be the best parents for their children. So, we need to obey our parents in the Lord. With His Love, I’m sure we can accept our parents with their imperfection. And someday, if we got the chance to become parent, we know that it’s not easy to become a wise one. We need His guidance too! (-fon-)

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2"Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise— 3"that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."a]">4Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

--- Ephesians 6:1-4

We Give You Thanks

Let our days be days of thanksgiving and praise to the Lord. (-fon-)

We give thanks to you, O God,
we give thanks, for your Name is near;
men tell of your wonderful deeds.

--- Psalm 75:1

Put on A New Nature

Maybe in the past we’ve been doing some mistakes, but let the Holy Spirit renew our thoughts and attitudes as we live in Christ now. Put on a new nature, as we created to be like God-righteous and holy like Him. (-fon-)

22 throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 23 Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. 24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

--- Ephesians 4:22-24
