Endure Patiently

We all will need to wait on something. Sometimes it’s only within a short period of time, while some other time, we need to face the uncertainties for quite long. Long enough to drain our energy and our faith as well. We begin to question God, if He’s that good, why doesn’t he grant our wishes?

We can see an example that has been written in the bible. Look at Abraham. He has waited so long for a son, but one thing that made him different, he endured patiently. And finally He got what God had promised him.

Sometimes we wait while at the same time we complain. Well, it’s hard not to do it, isn’t it? But today, let’s learn like Abraham, to wait and endure patiently until His time arrived for His promises in our life. (-fon-)

And so it was that he [Abraham], having waited long and endured patiently, realized and obtained [in the birth of Isaac as a pledge of what was to come] what God had promised him.
--- Hebrews 6:15

I Will Be With You

Maybe you’ve heard those words as you read as the title above from your family, close friends, special girlfriend/boyfriend or spouse. They promised to be with you no matter what happen in your life. That’s what we call faithfulness.

And talking about faithfulness, it seems that no one will be more faithful than our God, who will be there in our life 24/7/365. In each day of our life. He has promised that He will be with us in our joy or sorrow. Just listen to His voice which keeps saying, “ I will be with you, my child.” That’s his faithfulness to our life. That’s his promise to us.

No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
--- Joshua 1:5
