The Tongue of the Learned

Have you ever been in some conditions where you can’t control your sharp tongue? It won’t stop attacking others until you can silence him/her.

Maybe we’ve been through that condition before, but because we’re now the disciples of Christ, the tongue of the learned is one thing that we should try our best to achieve day by day.

May the words that come out of our mouth can give a motivation to those who are weary. Not the negative words, making others stressful and just gossiping around.

May today onwards we try our best to control our tongue. Because we’re all His disciples. (-fon-)

“The Lord God has given Me
The tongue of the learned,
That I should know how to speak
A word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear
To hear as the learned.

Lidah Seorang Murid

Apakah Anda pernah berada pada kondisi di mana lidah Anda sungguh tajam? Tak berhenti  menyerang sampai orang tersebut bungkam dan mati kutu terdiam?

Mungkin pernah kita alami,  namun hendaknya ketika kita menjadi pengikut Kristus, lidah seorang muridlah yang kita perjuangkan hari lepas hari.

Perkataan yang keluar dari mulut kita semoga bisa memberi semangat kepada orang yang mendengarnya. Bukan perkataan yang menjatuhkan, membuat stres, atau membuat pergunjingan (baca:gosip)?

Semoga mulai hari ini kita belajar mengendalikan lidah kita. Karena kita adalah murid-Nya. (-fon-)

Tuhan ALLAH telah memberikan kepadaku lidah seorang murid, supaya dengan perkataan aku dapat memberi semangat baru kepada orang yang letih lesu. Setiap pagi Ia mempertajam pendengaranku untuk mendengar seperti seorang murid.
