Pleasant Words

Sometimes, due to our tiredness or in a fatigue condition, quite often we throw unpleasant words to the people surround us. It’s not easy to control each word that comes from our tongue.

But we need to try to. Try to pick the pleasant words in our conversation. Of course once in a while, we might forget it and talk in such an unpleasant way. But let us all be reminded by Proverbs 16:24 today that pleasant words are as a honeycomb, they are sweet to the mind and healing to the body.

Maybe, you’re surrounded by not-so-pleasant-people who talk unpleasantly today. Or maybe, some members of your family have this anger every time they talk. But, let’s start with us, let’s start to talk in pleasant words. Don’t expect others to do it first, but let’s start from us at this point of time. (-fon-)

Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body.
---Proverbs 16:24
