Brokenness Brings Goodness
David said, “Lord, I am like a broken vessel” (See Psalm 31:12). Brokenness seems bad, but through brokenness we rid ourselves of the outer shell, the fleshly parts of us, that need to be thrown off in order to bring forth the good things that are in us.
(Taken from: Joyce Meyer’s Article)
Broken-hearted, broken-home, or all other brokenness will always be there in some stage of our life.
It’s painful and sometimes hurt us deeply.
But Joyce Meyer’s article made me see that sometimes we need brokenness. Because brokenness even though seems bad, but through brokenness we rid ourselves of the outer shell- the fleshy part of us in order to bring the goodness inside of us out and can be seen by others as something beautiful.
So, are you experiencing brokenness recently?
Be sure that brokenness will bring goodness in our life if we devote it to God.

Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.
---Psalm 23:6
