Different

Today, as I read 1 Corinthians 4, I saw a very interesting verse.
It says that when we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly.

It makes me realized that we need to be different from this world. Because, what is a common thing to do when we are cursed? We’ll curse back. When we are persecuted? We’ll make a revenge.
But as God’s disciples we need to be different. We need to distinguish ourselves from this world.
Of course, it’s not easy. It will take a lot of faith to work it out. But, imagine that if we can make it, it will be a real blessing for our life as well. Because we have shown our qualities and virtues as God’s children.

Dare to be different in a positive way will be our goal, starting today. (-fon-)

We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. Up to this moment we have become the scum of the earth, the refuse of the world.
---1 Corinthians 4:12-13
