A Little Bit Kinder To Ourselves

Our heavenly Father is kind to us. And since he is so kind to us, can’t we be a little kinder to ourselves? (Taken from: Max Lucado’s writing).

Many times, our heavenly Father has already forgiven our sins. But we haven’t.
We keep thinking that we’re at fault every time. We are trapped by the guilty feeling that won’t go away.
I know how it feels.

But today, Max Lucado reminds us to be kind to ourselves. Well, if we can’t do that much because of such a huge self-guilty inside of us, we might do it a little at a time.
We need to be a little kinder to ourselves. We need to forgive ourselves and not to give too much pressure to ourselves.
Of course this isn’t an excuse to repeat the sins over and over again. We just need to realize that even God Himself has already shown His mercy to us. Can we be more merciful to ourselves? (-fon-)

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
---Ephesians 4:32
