The Wonders You Have Done
Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle was dealt an unexpected blow when she lost out to a group of young street dancers in the final of the British talent show that made her a global star.
(yahoo news)
Quite a similar story was also happened around 10 days ago, when Kris Allen was crowned the American Idol. He has beaten judges’ favorite Adam Lambert (and many people’s favorite as well).
What if that happens to us? What if the best in our plan is eventually ‘only’ the second best in this world? What if we’ve tried so hard to achieve something, only to find that we’re not the best. There’s someone who is better than us. Should we be disappointed? At that point of time, YES we might be disappointed so much, but then if we think further, we’ll realize that it’s God’s best plan for us. Even though the world thinks it’s 2nd best, it’s the best that we could, it’s the best in His Plan for us. And it’s not the end of the world, in many cases, there are more popular Idol’s singer than the winner itself. Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, and I’m sure Susan Boyle and Adam Lambert will be on the list.
God’s plan is different from ours, but it’s definitely the best plan that we can get. Just trust Him and try to accept everything as it is. He knows better than us.

Many, O LORD my God,
are the wonders you have done.
The things you planned for us
no one can recount to you;
were I to speak and tell of them,
they would be too many to declare.
--- Psalm 40:5
