Start from Our Family
Here’s a quote from Mother Teresa:
We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty.
Mother Teresa
So, does this quote remind you of someone that has become a burden in your family? Whether he/she’s very talkative so that nobody can stand her at all or whether he/she gets angry easily and becomes a negative person who throws tantrum every time you have a family reunion… Well, somehow we need to face them, like or dislike, as a part of our family. And as disciple of Christ, we need to provide for our relatives. Sometimes we treasure our friends more than our family, but let’s make peace with our own family. We can’t choose them, they have been given to us as a part of our family by God. Let’s try to treat them in a better way.

If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
