Living in Harmony

How wonderful life could be if we live in harmony. It will be like the dew of Mount Hermon which falls on the mountains of Zion (Psalm 133:3)

I always have a dream in my mind. Maybe it sounds too good to be true, but I’ve never stopped thinking about it. One day, all people around the world will be hand in hand together to live in harmony, where peacefulness can be found anywhere on earth.

Maybe it’s utopia, but I will hold my dream up high and keep writing about it. At least, we start from each of us to make this world a better place to live by starting to improve ourselves, do better, and keep the environment for future generation. And never stop trying to be His best children with the right attitude in faith. (-fon-)

Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon
that falls on the mountains of Zion.

TOTD August 29-He Really Cares

He Really Cares

God cares for us. Even to the other creatures, He cares so much. Why we need to be worried (read: have little faith)? He will provide for us. As long as we do the best and let Him do the rest. Keep the faith, be grateful for He really cares for us. (-fon-)

And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

TOTD, August 27-28: Fix our Thoughts

Fixed on God

Our thoughts might wander, here-there-far away.

Sometimes they’re upright, while at other times they’re selfish. But let’s try to control our thoughts. In order to have perfect peace like what Isaiah said, we need to stay focus in God.

Let our thoughts and mind stay focus on You, Lord. Let our mind fix on You. That’s when we’ll find peace inside and then can develop a peaceful relationship with the people surround us. (-fon-)

all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

Fix Our Thoughts on Good Things

The book of Philippians today reminds us to control our thoughts and fix them on what is true, honourable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. To think about excellent things which are worthy of praise.

It’s easy to think negatively about something, about someone. But, let’s try our best today to stay positive and think about the good things. Let God be our guide to fix our thoughts positively. (-fon-)

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Great Peace from the Lord

With so many uncertainties and worries in our life, we tend to forget that our Lord is actually the source of faith and hope. From Him we’ll get enough strength to move on with peace.

I have met some friends who are having huge problems in their life, but they’re still walking in the path of life with peace. I’m sure that the peace is from the Lord Himself which is unshakeable even things are worse than expectations. But, in God they trust that everything happens for a reason and that’s why no need to worry too much for He will give them the best.

God Pours His Love To Us

Each day in our life is filled with God’s love. Sometimes we’re just too busy to see. Or maybe we expect miracles and amazing things in our life then we thought we can see God’s love there.

Actually, there are many miracles through simplicity in our life. Maybe it’s just as simple as a baby’s smile, a warm sunny morning, a blue sky, a rainbow after the rain… Even the nature can sing harmoniously about God’s love. He really loves us, He pours His love to us. And He Himself is love. (-fon-)

But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me,
and through each night I sing his songs,
praying to God who gives me life.

God Gave Us Unfailing Love

God has been so kind. He gave us life and showed us His unfailing love. Our life is being well taken care of. Even sometimes things are not going our ways, but actually it’s His way to safe us. To Honor the Lord

God is our everything. He’s our Rock where we can find protection. Shield, for the power that saves us and place of our safety. Refuge and Savior who safes us from harm.

The Lord Looks at the Heart

If we’re wearing Prada- the real/original one- it’s easy for people to look up to us. They will admire us and easily become our friends. And soon we’ll be very popular because the brand itself has set its own standard of luxury.

What if it changed to Nada? Like the movie From Prada to Nada, it reminds me that people might judge us easily based on whatever brand that we wear especially the luxurious ones. People in this world judge us easily by the looks, by the wealth, by the brand, by the popularity, etc.

Luckily, the Lord looks at the heart. That means a lot to me. He loves me just the way I am. And He will love us with all His heart. The world might judge us and made us hurt. But He won’t. Thank God for that. (-fon-)

People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

Source of Hope

If we feel hopeless, either with our problems, our situation at the moment, or even with this world… We need to find the source of hope.
